Ask for pricingOntario's Beginner Driver Education is a Ministry-defined 40-hour program — here's exactly how those hours break down.
Every approved BDE course in Ontario follows the same official structure — 40 hours in total. Our course covers all three components and prepares you for the city road test at the end.
20 hours of theory — delivered in-class or online — is where you learn the rules of the road, traffic signs, and defensive driving. This is the certification portion that earns your insurance discount and faster road-test eligibility.
10 hours of flexible homelink — guided homework and practice activities you complete between sessions, reinforcing what you learn in theory and behind the wheel.
10 hours of in-car training — one-on-one time with a certified instructor in our car, building the real-world skills you'll be tested on. We don't put you forward for the test until you're genuinely ready.
The four pieces that make up your full course.
Optional extras available on top of any package. Prices vary — call or text and we'll sort it out for you.
Want more time behind the wheel before your test? Add hourly in-car sessions with your certified instructor — booked whenever you need them.
Taking the test in our car? Add a pre-test refresher lesson to settle the nerves and warm up right before you go in — same car you trained in.
Our included test is the city G2 only — highway G prep isn't part of the standard course. If you're ready for the full G, we offer it on request.
